JESSIE MACBETH (Xena) is honored to play the role of Xena. It has been a role of a lifetime and she has enjoyed every freaking second of it. Immense gratitude to Meg & Luce for trusting her with bringing this iconic character to life. Lots of love to Jayne. @jesslouisemac

GRACE HAMASHIMA (Gabrielle) is a New York City based performer. Recent credits include: Cat in the Stephen Schwartz original, Magic To Do (Princess Cruises) Avril/Mallory in City of Angels (Theatre Raleigh) Everest in Nickelodeon's Paw Patrol Live! At Home Special (Paramount+) and featured ensemble member in the national tour/West End run of Blippi the Musical (RRL/Moonbug Entertainment.) Grace is so honored to be playing Gabrielle and incredibly grateful to be working with such an amazing cast and creative team.

CHLOE KOSTMAN (Myrina) Chloe is beyond thrilled to be a part of this incredible show with these amazing humans! TARA ANDUJAR (Ephiny) is a performer based in NYC. Born and raised in Manhattan's Lower East Side, Tara has been involved in New York's performing arts community since the age of 9. Graduate of AMDA's integrated conservatory program, Tara has been performing in cabaret's and recently new upcoming musicals like Xena: Warrior Musical and Totaled: A Folk Rock Tragedy.

STEPHANIE CRAVEN (Aphrodite) is a New York based actress from South Hadley, Massachusetts. She recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. After participating in the reading of Xena Warrior Musical last Fall she is THRILLED to be taking the stage as the goddess of love once more! CHASE WOLFE (Kāko) Chase is originally from the upstate of South Carolina and contrary to popular belief spent his college days getting degrees in Chinese and Chemistry, but has recently joined the New York City masses to pursue theater full time. Having spent much of the last 4 years, performing on cruise ships, he is excited to be making his New York debut in Xena Warrior Musical. Past shows include Footloose the Musical (Inaugural NCL cast), and Time Stops the Musical.

LIZZ SOOY (Ensemble/Dance Captain) is honored to be a part of the cast of Xena Warrior Musical. They would like to thank Meg and Luce for their genius-ness and amazing opportunity and Hector for being a kick ass choreographer. Lizz recently graduated with their Masters in Songwriting and Production from Berklee NYC and are looking to release their album Garden of Eden within the next year. JOSHUA CARANDANG (Joxer) is an actor/musician currently based out of Brooklyn. Having recently moved there from Cincinnati, Ohio, he is honored that his first staged production since 2020 is one that is so important to so many! Favorite roles include Andrew Jackson in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Bobby Strong in Urinetown, and Henry in Next to Normal.

TEHILAH (TEA) CAVINESS (Ensemble) is neighing with glee to play the role of the most important horse in the show: Argo, and to be part of the best musical theater ensemble ever created for Xena: Warrior Musical. Tea is a proud 2021 graduate of NYC AMDA. Recent credits include ensemble roles in Memphis, Beauty & The Beast, and Chicago with The Players Guild, and The Lady in Blue in Avenue Arts’ production of For Colored Girls.

EZRA NOEL (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of the first staged cast of Xena: Warrior Musical! Ezra (they/he) recently graduated with their BFA in musical theatre from LIU Post this past May, and since then has performed regionally in Boston and New York. Recent credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Hedwig), Octet (Paula), Pippin (Player). Ezra is incredibly grateful to be celebrating queer love on stage and keeping the Xenaverse alive for generations to come.

S.C. LUCIER (Director) is an SDC director and graduate of Marymount Manhattan College (Gold Key, Directing ’12): HELD: A Musical Fantasy by Maxwell & Rose at NYC Fringe 2016 and NYMF 2018; Kerrigan-Lowdermilk’s immersive musical, The Bad Years; Jennifer Jancuska’s The BringAbout and BC Beat. Co-writer of queer musical theater (Xena: Warrior Musical, etc) at Lucier&Rose. “Luci” has had an eclectic career in live events, exhibits and performance: toured on the production team with Martha Graham Dance Company, site managed Louis Vuitton “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibition (New York City), site managed at Van Wyck & Van Wyck, designed at Joyce Theater for Richard Move’s “The Show (Achilles’ Heels)” with Debbie Harry, procured properties at Lincoln Center’s Clark Studio Theater, and stage managed Cape Dance Festival in Provincetown, among others. Currently, they are archiving the 40-year career of choreographer Sally Silvers to be accepted by NYPL and Columbia University Library. They are currently the Sr. Associate of Public Programs & Partnerships at The American LGBTQ+ Museum, and a recent graduate of CUNY’s Graduate Center, where they studied museum and theater history, exhibition, and digital humanities. In her free time, Lucier captains one of New York City’s roller derby teams, The Bronx Gridlock (2018 NYC champions & 2019 undefeated NYC champions) and has also played on the world-championship roller derby team, Gotham All Stars, for five years.

 

MEGHAN ROSE (Music Director) is a composer and musician living in Brooklyn, NY, moved here to pursue music in 2016 from Madison, Wisconsin. She’s written music for 4 full-length musicals: Love, Death, Brains: A Zombie Musical (NYC Fringe 2012), ALICE (Bartell Theater - Madison, 2017), HELD: A Musical Fantasy (NYC Fringe 2016, NYMF, 2018), and Xena: Warrior Musical with Lucier. Rose is an active musician in the city, playing bass and guitar for cabarets, revues, and bands. Recent credits include: Siluetas (guitar) at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Ring of Keys: Queering the Canon Series (bass, guitar) at Joe’s Pub, Leaves: Songs of Ourselves (bass) 54 Below, 54 Below Sings Series: Pink, Demi Lovato, & Amy Winehouse (guitar), queer rock bands Monte, Damsel Trash, Themme, NotNorth, Tony & The Kiki, History of Rock and Women in Rock at Cafe Wha.

DANIELLA CAGGIANO (Associate Director) is a director and intimacy director committed to radically centering queer voices and women’s voices on stage. She has been in Roundabout's Directors Group and an MTC Directing Fellow, Drama League Resident, and alum of Lincoln Center Directors Lab. Daniella has directed or developed work at NYTW, Joe’s Pub, The Tank, WOW Cafe, HERE, and Rattlestick among others. Favorite projects include a site-appropriate Fun Home (starring Jenn Colella), Next To Normal, Glass Town, Vinegar Tom, and Macbeth. HÉCTOR FLORES JR. (Choreographer) is a queer Latino entainment industry multi-hyphenate based in New York City. Originally a performer he’s graced theatre stages across the nation in musicals like On Your Feet!, In The Heights and Kiss Me Kate just to name a few. Some of his direction/choreography credits include In The Heights (Mill Mountain Theatre), West Side Story (Flatrock Playhouse), The Helena Project (New York Theatre Barn) and Sueños: Our American Musical (New York Theatre Barn). He’s also been seen dancing on TV in episodes of Full Frontal w/ Samantha Bee and was Ranked top 5 at the Fred Astaire World Ballroom Championships. He is president of Theatre Barn Records, dedicated to fostering new works. As an executive staff member of New York Theatre Barn Flores often helps or spearheads bringing stories from underrepresented communities to new heights. He is thrilled to be part of the team that brings Xena to the stage! Lets rock!

EMMA HASSELBACH (Assistant Director) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in NYC working as director, sound designer, writer, and educator. Recent projects include What If If Only/Air (Burning Coal), Dream of Rays (HERE), Hotel McGuffin (Parity Productions), ODY (Philly Fringe).
